  1. This file is for those people who already used VoteDoor/Enquete before..
  2. New users can skip this file and delete the ConvVote.exe file.
  3. It's only for users who upgrade from a version LOWER than 3.0...

  6. Conversion:

  8. Version 3.0 of the VoteDoor and the Enquete program have an other
  9. datastructure than the versions before. I merged the two datafiles
  10. into one file.. (Why didn't I think of that before.. sigh)
  11.  
  12. To convert your old database with questions to the new format the
  13. program ConvVote is provided. Copy it into the directory where the
  14. old datafiles are, run it.. and voila.

  16. The program renames the old files to *.OLD and a new single
  17. *.DAT file will appear. This file can immediatly be used by
  18. VoteDoor 3.0 or Enquete 3.0
  19.  
  20. After the conversion you can delete the *.OLD files.

  22. The format of the History.txt file has also changed a little. But this
  23. is of no concern, the new VoteMain program just adds the new removed
  24. question at the end of the file.
